Funding worth £455,000 is being made available for innovative solar projects.
The money from Innovate UK aims to support schemes that develop products to increase Europe’s market share in solar power.
It is part of a Europe-wide competition that aims to strengthen the European manufacturing base and increase its market share in the sector.
From a UK perspective, the following topics are being considered:
- innovative and low-cost PV manufacturing issues
- advanced PV products and applications
- PV system integration
- aspects of CSP cost reduction and system integration
The deadline for applicants to submit a pre-proposal is 20th of February next year.
